The Greater Wilmington area may have the market cornered on gorgeous golf course communities. With ten outstanding entries featuring 198 championship holes, surrounded by coastal views, magnificent homes, and every amenity a golf enthusiast could desire.

This gated luxury community is home to 45 Championship holes, complete with practice areas for putting, chipping or lessons. The Nicklaus course designed and opened by the Golden Bear himself boasts 27 holes of challenging play divided into three nines. The nines are perfectly named Marsh, Ocean, and Pines having been purposefully designed to preserve and enhance the natural beauty and echo-system of the land. The Nicklaus course takes advantage of Landfall's abundant freshwater marshes and saltwater marshes, and the stunning views of Howe's Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway. Among her rolling fairways, you will find sand and grass bunkers, water hazards on 12 holes, and greens groomed to perfection. Play is commonly rotated among the three nines and, with five tee positions, accommodates all levels of skill.

Landfall is also home to the Dye course and driving range, designed by famed course designer, Pete Dye. His more famous creation is the Player's Stadium course at TPC Sawgrass, the annual site of golf's fifth major, the Player's Championship with the signature par three seventeenth hole island green. Landfall's course is also to Dye for, presenting a challenging 18 holes.

The Country Club of Landfall has seemingly endless amenities with 11 tennis courts, an Olympic pool, world-class dining, and a residential community of business and civic leaders. The golf courses play host to the Landfall Tradition, an annual tournament featuring collegiate women's teams, The Willie Stargell Foundation Celebrity ProAm, and scores of charity tournaments.
