Dawning Creek

Masonboro Sound Road and Bohicket Way provide access the little-known alcove community of Dawning Creek. This smaller community is comprised of just two modest cul-de-sacs branching from Dawning Creek Way beautifully designed to form a landscaped center where roundabouts meet. Dawning Creek sits in between two other neighborhoods and is connected to Whispering Pines and just removed from Maxwell Place.

Dawning Creek is a quiet community entirely composed of single-family homes on relatively spacious lots measuring ¼ to ½ acre in size with mature trees and space for a family to grow or the professional to spread their wings. The neighborhood includes a pond which borders a few of the homes and opens to the left of the entrance. One of the biggest draws to many people in the community are the local schools, Parsley Elementary, Roland Grise Middle, and Hoggard High School (subject to change).

Most homes in Dawning Creek are one or two stories with attached garages, typically ranging from 1,600 sq/ft to just over 2,000 sq/ft. The community is fully developed within the Wilmington city limits with street lighting and is one of the safest neighborhoods in the Greater Wilmington area. The exteriors of the homes are either brick-veneer or maintenance friendly horizontal siding.
